Nathan Guerrero is President of Mortgage South of Tennessee. As a native of the Chattanooga, TN area, he’s been helping homeowners with reverse mortgages since 2005.
Founded in 1986, Mortgage South is Tennessee’s first reverse mortgage loan originator. In 1993, our founder, Don Oakes worked with the state legislators to get the first FHA insured HECM reverse mortgage loan approved and closed in the state. Since then, we have closed over 3,000 reverse mortgages and worked to help seniors navigate the pitfalls of retirement shortfalls and stay in their homes. Nathan regularly consults with financial planners and elder law attorneys to help his clients keep their finances stable throughout retirement. His willingness to work with other professionals has helped to make him one of the few reverse mortgage specialists with specialized knowledge in underutilized areas. Nathan owns Mortgage South with his wife Candy and they are passionate about helping their clients live their best retirements. Their expertise is focused only on reverse mortgages. They are licensed in Tennessee and Georgia with locations in Chattanooga and Cool Springs.
